About the role
Full-time Forklift Operator II position on the 3rd shift, responsible for material movement within the facility using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and secure trailers
- Fulfill sales requests by pulling vending and cold drink equipment
- Update SAP and CONA systems
- Perform safety checks and housekeeping
- Assist with staging equipment, yard maintenance, and trailer maneuvering using a switcher
Requirements
- Forklift and switcher operation certification
- Basic safety knowledge
- Proficiency in forklift and pallet jack operation
- Ability to read SOPs and complete documentation
- Strong communication and math skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Capable of working in challenging environments
- Ability to lift weights up to 50 lbs occasionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Logistics or truck loading knowledge
- Understanding of trailer loading strategies and weight distribution
