About the role
Family Pathways Food Access is hiring a Food Shelf Coordinator to coordinate and manage the food shelf and resources available to all clients, ensuring equitable, healthy food access for eligible and priority populations.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and review the work of staff and/or volunteers.
- Manage multiple projects with deadlines while working under pressure.
- Handle sensitive and/or confidential matters.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Perform tasks that may require climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Requirements
- Passion for working with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, domestic violence, addiction, and/or mental illness.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and close attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client database software.
- Dependable vehicle, current and valid driver’s license, and proof of current insurance.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and passing criminal background check.
- Ability to sit for extended periods, close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay
Starting wage: $16.50 per hour (non-exempt).
