About the Role

Gordon Food Service Store, the retail division of Gordon Food Service, offers a fast-paced retail environment that balances work and life while fostering development for future growth. Our 170+ stores serve small food service operators, families, non-profit organizations, caterers, and more. As a Full-Time Food Production Associate, you’ll contribute to a “Customer is King” environment and enjoy varied responsibilities with opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sliced meats (must be 18 years of age to operate meat slicer) and cheeses, make sandwiches and wraps
• Juice ingredients for customer beverages
• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
• Fill in other areas such as stocking, cashiering, or additional food production during downtime
• Operate a rotisserie oven up to 3 times per day
• Use a broaster to cook chicken tenders, wings, fish, and potato wedges as needed
• Take temperatures of cooked and cold foods
• Change oil in broasters

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Able to provide superior customer service
• Able to multitask and work independently or within a team
• Basic math and computer skills
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
