Job Overview

Cub Hastings is seeking a Full Time Floral Lead to assist customers in selecting floral products. This role involves ongoing customer interaction and ensuring prompt, courteous, and accurate service.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates
  • Handle floral goods in a safe manner and keep the work area clean and neat
  • Perform product scanning and process customer orders accurately, efficiently, and promptly
  • Review the status and appearance of flowers for freshness
  • Sorts floral loads as assigned
  • Anticipate product needs for the department
  • Assist with customer questions or requests

Job Requirements

  • Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.)
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Memorization, reading, writing, and math skills
  • Good judgment for handling situations without immediate supervision
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing
  • Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be 18 years of age and older

Physical Requirements

  • Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Walking on uneven ground
  • Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions

Schedule

  • Open availability required
  • Weekends are required

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
