MCPHERSON COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS is seeking a Full-time Engineering Technician.
Responsibilities
- Sampling and Material Testing
- Creating bid documents
- Creating engineering reports
- Drafting and design
- Aiding in preparing estimates of work and material
- Surveying and research
- Inspection of construction projects and bridges
- Aiding in traffic studies
- Aiding in bridge inspections
Requirements
- High school graduate with supplemented training or experience in civil engineering related to public works design preferred
- Drafting and surveying skills preferred
- Ability to use or learn Word, Excel, Power Point, Auto Cad, and Micro Station helpful
Pay
Beginning hourly wage is $19.84 - $32.85 dependent on qualifications and experience.
