Full-Time Emergency Department Nurse

About the role

This role involves providing direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Responsibilities

• Promoting patient- and family-centered care in a healing environment, including education on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participating in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, as well as engaging in professional development.
• Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families, and ensuring effective communication across the care continuum.
• Using critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
• Maintaining alertness and safety as this is a safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• RN license required.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• At least 2 years of experience.
