About the role

As a full-time early childhood teacher at Gallup’s Child Development Center (CDC), you will foster the learning and development of Gallup associates' young children. You will be surrounded by a team of world-class teachers committed to making a difference in their classrooms, all while investing in your growth and development as a teacher.

Responsibilities

  • Create individualized, proactive and engaging infant and toddler learning activities based on each child's unique personality and interests.
  • Establish a caring atmosphere and build positive connections with children, parents, and other teachers.
  • Implement play-based classrooms, an indoor water room, and an outside playground to inspire curiosity and learning.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about daily activities and child development.
  • Lift up to 35 pounds as needed to support classroom activities.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma.
  • At least one year of experience working in an early childhood setting.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Preferred early childhood or education-based college coursework.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
  • Experience with play-based learning and curriculum development.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

The estimated hourly range for this role is $20-$21. Hourly pay is based on a variety of factors, including an individual's education, experience, and skills.

Schedule

Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
