Full-Time Early Childhood Soccer Coach

About the role

Soccer Shots New Orleans is looking for a Children’s Enrichment Instructor to join our team. This role is perfect for a recent graduate or early-career professional who wants to build a meaningful career in early childhood development, coaching, and leadership. No Sports Experience Required! You’ll spend your week creating fun, memorable experiences for children ages 18 months–8 years old through Soccer Shots sessions at schools and parks throughout the Greater New Orleans area.

Responsibilities

You will coach and create amazing experiences for children, leading 30-35 Soccer Shots sessions each week. Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating a safe, fun, and encouraging environment where every child feels successful.
• Delivering our proven curriculum with enthusiasm, professionalism, and consistency.
• Building positive relationships with children, families, teachers, and school partners.
• Working alongside the Executive Director and Coaching Support team to assist with daily team needs.
• Using tools like Connecteam and Monday.com to stay organized and support team success.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who is energetic, dependable, and fun to be around, passionate about making a positive impact on young children, and a strong communicator who enjoys building relationships. You should be organized, coachable, and eager to learn, and excited about developing leadership skills and growing with our team.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience working with children ages 18 months–8 years old (teaching, coaching, childcare, camps, recreation, etc.) is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Pay and Schedule

This is a full-time salaried position with a starting salary of $35,000 annually. The schedule is Monday–Friday, with some evening availability required and Saturday morning programming opportunities available with additional compensation.
