Full Time Display Associate

Responsibilities
- Evaluate and maintain displays throughout the store to meet and exceed SCHEELS display expectations
- Manage store inventory of display supplies by following a designated budget
- Cookordinate with Specialty Shop Managers and Leadership to provide placement of frames, images, and mannequins on floor plan
- Maintain images and mannequins in line with current trends for the week, month, season, and specific store or corporate campaigns
- Unload product from freight. Tag, fold, hang and price merchandise to be put out on the sales floor or in back stock
- Arrange merchandise in such a way to enhance the customer experience
- Restock merchandise on the sales floor and bring products to the floor for display
- Maintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas. General cleaning and organization around the store and back stock areas
- Add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
- Write simple correspondence
- Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other associates of the organization
- Be organized, multi-task, and maintain all aspects of a display role
- Work independently and with the team
- Exercise judgment and tact and effectively work with all levels within the organization
- Show attention to detail
- Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere, and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels’ policies and procedures
- Work assigned schedule which will include some weekends/evenings or Holidays based on store needs

Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s or an associate’s degree in merchandising, retailing, fashion management or any other related field of study
- Prior experience with display/merchandising is preferred
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
- Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Pay
Starting at $18.50+ (dependent on experience)
Schedule
Must be flexible to work assigned schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00p. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, & holidays. Average hours per week is 40 hours.

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
