Full-time Direct Support Professional (1st Shift)

About the role

This role is responsible for providing direct support services to individuals with developmental disabilities. The position involves assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals under their care.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Document observations and progress reports as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Pass a background check and health screening.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Pay

$15.00 per hour.

Schedule

1st Shift: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
