Full-Time Direct Service Worker (Evening Shift, Weekends)

About the role

Join a dynamic organization dedicated to providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation for adults with brain injuries. The role involves delivering direct care services to individuals with behavioral challenges resulting from brain injury within residential programs.

Responsibilities

• Implementing behavioral training and individual protocols, ensuring accurate documentation
• Modeling appropriate behavior, providing positive reinforcement and corrective feedback daily
• Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, transfers, toileting, and physical support
• Transporting residents to medical, vocational, recreational, and educational activities within the community
• Completing required documentation, including behavioral data, incident reports, medication records, and shift summaries
• Performing housekeeping chores like laundry and cleaning tasks

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Valid driver's license with responsible driving habits
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
