Full Time Dental Assistant

About the Role

Osky Dental is looking for a friendly, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We take pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere for both our patients and our team members. You'll work alongside experienced professionals who value collaboration, quality dentistry, and helping each other succeed.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Generally every other Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Pay

$20-$25 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and assist the doctor during a variety of dental procedures
• Welcome patients and help create a comfortable, positive experience
• Take digital radiographs and maintain accurate patient records
• Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA and infection control standards
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Set up and break down operatories efficiently
• Assist with charting, impressions, and other clinical duties as needed
• Work closely with the entire team to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred
• Current dental assistant certification and/or radiology certification (if required by Iowa)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and a true team player
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient care
