Full-time Deli Lead

Role Overview: Lead daily department operations in a retail store, ensuring staff training, staffing levels, and adherence to company standards to meet performance goals. Key Responsibilities: Manage inventory ordering and control to maintain freshness and quality; verify received orders; oversee team tasks including stocking and product rotation; stay knowledgeable about products and promotions; communicate and execute weekly plans; support scheduling, labor, and payroll management; uphold food safety and safety guidelines; maintain a clean and well-stocked department; participate in meetings; and assist in developing department goals and forecasts. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; 0-2 years retail experience preferred; strong communication, organization, and leadership skills; knowledge of retail operations and management systems; proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus. Physical & Environment Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures typical of retail settings.
