Company Johnson Brothers Liquor Company Location Charlotte, NC Other Operations Apply The position is responsible for a wide variety of inventory related activities to ensure the accountability and overall flow of inventory into and out of the warehouse facility; Track product shipping errors, ensure inventory counts are accurate, conduct audits, review accuracy of documents related to inventory Job Description Daily research of company product shipping errors for individual bottle pulls and full casesUtilize the Company's technological tools to verify accuracy of inventory shippedProvide regular pro-active updates so management is well informed and updated regarding all open issues with inventoryAdjust records when there are discrepancies between actual product and recordsCounting all types of products for the warehouse to ensure inventory records are accurateIdentify and propose solutions for inventory issues and resolutions, such as out-of-stock inventory, damages, and discrepanciesPrepare various inventory related reportsPerform other duties as assigned by management Job Requirements High School degree or equivalent requiredPrefer 1-3 years of inventory control experiencePrevious experience with warehouse management systems is highly preferredProficient in Microsoft Office products especially Word, Excel and OutlookKnowledgeable of AS400 is a plusStrong math skillsAbility to safely lift 40-60 lbs repeatedlyGood verbal/written communication skillsExperience with warehouse equipment (forklift, cherry picker, etc.) preferredStrong problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and highly organized is requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and handle multiple tasks at onceMust have flexibility with schedule to work earlier or later based on business needs Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and a post offer physical.
