Full Time Day Shift Welder - Moberly, MO

Wilson Trailer is seeking full-time Day Shift Welders to join our team in the truck trailer industry. The shift runs from 6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday.

Pay

Starting wage of $23.21/hr with scheduled increases.

Requirements

• 1 year of welding experience on steel/aluminum
• Able to pass a welding test
• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• At least 18 years of age
• Current certification to weld
• Good attendance record
• Mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work well with others in a busy environment
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections of hoist chains and all tools used
• Use a huck gun, drill, and other handheld tools
• Read and understand production and print orders
• Read and interpret a tape measure
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety rules and regulations

Skills

• Average computer skills; ability to locate and enlarge prints occasionally
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English

Physical Demands

• Frequently lift/carry up to 10 lbs
• Occasionally lift/carry 11-50 lbs
• Infrequently lift/carry 51-75 lbs
• Constantly stand, walk, handle/finger
• Occasionally push/pull, reach outward, bend, squat/kneel
• Infrequently climb, crawl, reach above shoulder
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including protective eyewear, hearing protection, hardhat, safety-toe boots, and protective gloves
