Full-Time Cut Fruit Produce Team Member

Location: Kimberton Whole Foods, 4010 Durham Rd, Ottsville, PA 18942

Schedule

• Full‑Time, 40 hours per week
• 5 days per week
• Shift: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
• Weekend flexibility required

Pay

Starting hourly rate: $16 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all shoppers.
• Slice whole fruits and vegetables, package, weigh, and label cut‑produce containers.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure accurate pricing on received and sold products.
• Complete all required sanitation standards within fresh‑cut areas of the produce department.
• Rotate fresh produce on a first‑in‑first‑out basis.
• Follow established KWF SOPs to maintain abundant, dynamic, and fresh displays throughout the department.
• Collaborate with the Produce Department head to maintain accurate and up‑to‑date product signage.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Full‑time availability (40 hours/week) with weekend flexibility.
• Physical capabilities:
  • Full range of vision, hearing, and sense of smell for quality control and communication.
  • Lifting, gripping, and carrying objects up to 50–75 lb frequently (boxes, cans, tools, etc.).
  • Stooping, squatting, and kneeling to pick up boxes from shelving and carts.
  • Walking short distances and prolonged standing.
  • Ability to work in cold environments (cooler, freezer, back‑stock) and handle cold products for extended periods.
