About the Role

This position involves providing one-on-one customer service support to patients via phone, ensuring accurate documentation, and collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient care. The role requires handling high call volumes in a fast-paced environment, adhering to HIPAA and company policies, and demonstrating sound judgment when managing patient interactions, including escalations and appointment scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to patient calls
  • Accurately enter demographic information into electronic records
  • Provide patient-focused service, answer questions, and offer information
  • Support process improvements and meet call volume targets
  • Make reminder and appointment rescheduling calls
  • Handle sensitive information confidentially and escalate calls appropriately
  • Manage multiple clients, utilizing various systems simultaneously
  • Maintain reliable attendance and perform additional duties aligned with organizational values

Requirements

  • At least 1+ year in healthcare, customer service, or call center roles
  • Experience with medical scheduling and healthcare environments preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, and phone systems
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a technology-driven environment
  • Ability to handle confidential information and work independently from a remote setting
  • Broadband internet with specified speeds and a private HIPAA-compliant workspace required
