Full Time Custom Framer

About the role

Lead and coach a team of framers focusing on building customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions for art.

Responsibilities

• Drive custom framing sales and assist customers in creating memorable framing solutions for their art.
• Develop and coach the team to sell effectively.
• Plan workload in partnership with the Store Manager to deliver high-quality custom framing solutions on time.
• Achieve and manage team KPIs, including sales and production workload planning.
• Manage inventory and execute shrink and safety programs as assigned.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Interview, on-board, train, and support new Team members; participate in performance management activities.
• Collaborate with MODs daily on framing and other tasks.
• Interact positively with colleagues and customers, maintaining a respectful and positive attitude.
• Follow standard operating procedures and ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, stretching, and standing for long periods.
• Handle glass cutter and heat press tools safely.
• Work in various environments including public retail stores, stock rooms, and outdoor areas.
• Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Previous custom framing experience preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Qualifications

• Ability to move throughout the store and access high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Standing for long periods.
• Lifting heavy boxes and frames.

Pay

Total Base Pay Range: $17.50 - $23.00

Schedule

Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
