Full time Class B CDL Delivery Driver

About the role

American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG") has an immediate opportunity for a Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Appleton, WI. This position requires a Class B CDL with HazMat & Tanker endorsements. Incentives Include $3500 Sign On Bonus Available.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, moving and storage of gas and liquid cylinders, CO2 and cynogenic liquids and other hard good supplies
• Making deliveries to customers or other branches and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately
• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
• Responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering CO2 and cryogenic liquids in transport tankers and/or cryogenic vessels
• Reads, understands and follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Complies with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle
• Maintains appropriate placarding and/or labeling of vehicles
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement
• Clean driving record
• Able to read and write English
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and company administered road test
• Able to communicate with customers
