About the role
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will implement the plan of care established by the OTR/L and physician, delivering excellence in quality of care while working alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team committed to helping older adults achieve their highest level of independence.
Responsibilities
- Implement the plan of care established by the Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) and physician
- Provide exceptional occupational therapy services to residents
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support resident independence
- Maintain current knowledge of Functional Pathways policies and procedures
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Active state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Certification and licensure as established by state and national board associations
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Completion of all required screenings, certifications, and licensure (requirements may vary by location)
