About the role
We are seeking highly motivated and qualified full-time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our nursing department on the 7 AM – 3 PM shift. Sign-on bonus of $1,500 for full-time positions.
Responsibilities
- Provides care to participants as directed and as outlined in the plan of care.
- Assists participants with activities of daily living and/or provides all necessary care for participants who are dependent.
- Utilizes nursing assistant techniques to promote as much individual independence as possible, including walking, transfer assistance, range of motion, eating, bathing, dressing, and bed mobility.
- Applies knowledge of infection control, fire, and disaster policies as needed.
- Participates in continuing education and meets the requirements for annual in-service participation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Massachusetts.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English; other languages are helpful.
- Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
