Responsibilities

• Greet all customers when entering and exiting the store
• Promote the Scheels Visa Rewards card and explain its benefits
• Accurately balance cash drawer at the end of the day
• Maintain a clean working environment and personal workspace
• Engage in conversations with customers to personalize each transaction
• End each transaction with a "thank you" to every customer
• Maintain a professional appearance on the sales floor
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Perform basic math calculations, read and understand simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and communicate effectively
• Work flexible schedules between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, with potential for varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Physical Requirements: Sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly
• Dress Code: Meet Scheels' dress and grooming expectations to maintain a welcoming environment for customers, co-workers, and business partners

Pay

Starting wage: $15.50/hour

Schedule

Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Average hours per week is 40.
