Full-Time Cardiothoracic Surgeon

About the role

Seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a high-volume, nationally recognized cardiovascular program in Kingsport, TN.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of surgeons and cardiologists in a multidisciplinary environment to deliver advanced cardiac and thoracic surgical care.
• Participate in a fully integrated cardiovascular service line.
• Contribute to clinical research.
• Engage in a well‑established Structural Heart Program.
• Opportunities for teaching and academic involvement.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Eligible in Thoracic Surgery.
• At least 5 years of surgical experience preferred.
• Expertise in adult cardiac and thoracic procedures.
• Interest or experience in minimally invasive valve surgery, structural heart procedures, and heart team collaboration.

Skills

• Strong collaborative skills within a comprehensive care environment.
• Experience with advanced imaging and structural planning.
• Participation in research, innovation, and educational activities.
