About the role
Provide consultative cardiac services and develop treatment plans for veterans across various care settings, including outpatient, inpatient, community living centers, and emergency departments.
Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret transesophageal echocardiograms, ECGs, Holter, and event monitor recordings.
- Conduct and interpret stress tests such as treadmill, pharmacologic, nuclear, and echocardiographic.
- Assist with urgent assessments and consultations within the care team.
- Perform cardioversion procedures and review pacemaker/AICD transmissions, adjusting settings as needed.
- Coordinate care with VA and non-VA referral centers for advanced cardiac services.
- Utilize telemedicine to enhance patient care and reach.
Requirements
- Expertise in non-invasive cardiology procedures and diagnostics.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Experience with telemedicine technologies is preferred.
Schedule
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with no call or weekend duties.
Pay
Competitive salary ranging from $350,000 to $400,000.
