Job Description
We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Olympic as our new Full Time Olympic Bar Bartender! Olympic Bar, located in the lobby of the historic Fairmont Olympic Hotel, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full Time Bartender to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Create an outstanding dining experience for our guests by ensuring their needs are met promptly
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, with impeccable presentation and attention to detail
- Have an extensive knowledge of all menu items and their preparation
- Take guest orders while making menu recommendations
- Set up and maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Assist with table turnover and maintain a smooth flow of service during peak hours
- Collaborate with colleagues and kitchen staff to ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required; at least two years high volume restaurant serving experience preferred; luxury dining experience preferred; general knowledge of alcoholic beverages; working knowledge of wine & wine-pairings; advanced knowledge preferred.
