About the role

The role at Giant Steps involves providing support to individuals with autism in a therapeutic setting. This includes facilitating social skills development, assisting with daily activities, and promoting independence.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with autism in developing social skills and communication abilities.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation and personal hygiene.
• Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions as directed by therapists.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for all participants.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with individuals with autism or similar disabilities is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

• Positive attitude and ability to maintain confidentiality.
