About the role

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in Salt Lake City, UT and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families
• Work with a supportive team of veterinarians and support professionals
• Enjoy flexible 2-5 day-per-week schedules
• Receive comprehensive onboarding and ongoing mentorship
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance

Qualifications

• Experience in hospice and euthanasia care preferred
• Strong communication and empathy skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Pay

Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities.
