About the role

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in Salt Lake City, UT and surrounding areas. This role offers flexible 2-5 day-per-week schedules, gratitude at every appointment, and the opportunity to practice medicine that aligns with your values.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families
• Work with clients to understand their pet’s needs and preferences
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure they are informed and prepared
• Ensure all procedures are performed with compassion and professionalism
• Document patient care and treatment in accordance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance

Qualifications

• Experience in hospice and euthanasia care preferred
• Strong communication and client management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
