Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to join our team in New London, CT and surrounding areas. We offer flexible 2-5 day-per-week schedules, an average of 3-4 un-rushed appointments per day, and comprehensive support for both professional growth and personal well-being.
About the Role
At Lap of Love, you'll provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families, working with a supportive community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals. Our culture prioritizes kindness and personal freedom, with ongoing training, mentorship, and a 24/7/365 Support Center.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families

- Receive ongoing training and mentorship from experienced leaders
- Access a 24/7/365 Support Center for guidance and resources
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date

Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities.
