About the role
Veterinarian-founded and owned, Lap of Love offers an alternative to in-clinic practice that prioritizes both professional fulfillment and personal freedom. As a mobile veterinarian, you'll provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families during one of life's most meaningful moments.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families
- Work with a supportive community of more than 400 veterinarians and support professionals
- Enjoy flexible 2-5* day-per-week schedules
- Have an average of 3-4 un-rushed appointments per day
- Practice medicine that fills your heart and aligns with your values
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date

Pay
Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in the San Mateo, CA area. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $117,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $140,000, plus additional bonus opportunities.
