The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) role at LoveShackFancy is crucial for the successful operation of the store. LoveShackFancy, founded in 2013, is a global brand known for its romantic, vintage-inspired aesthetic and its immersive, whimsical interiors. The brand operates 24 boutiques across the U.S. and London, and has collaborated with notable brands like Victoria's Secret PINK, Gap, and Target.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed individual productivity and sales goals
- Aid in achieving and exceeding the store’s productivity and sales goals
- Model exceptional customer service by demonstrating the desired behavior and coaching staff
- Practice and teach client development to the staff
- Hire, train, motivate, and retain quality sales associates
- Evaluate individual associate’s performance against goals
- Maintain high levels of visual merchandising and housekeeping standards
- Perform daily opening and closing procedures, including paperwork reconciliation and other operational tasks
- Protect store assets and inventory, reporting any potential shrinkage to the store manager
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Manage client book and clienteling activities
Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in luxury retail management
- Full understanding of specialty retail, including business development, visual merchandising, and store operations
- Strong computer skills, including operation of retail point of sale systems, Microsoft Office, and email
- Excellent leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to delegate responsibilities and effectively communicate with staff and peers
- A positive, outgoing, high-energy personality with a sales focus and entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to develop and mentor staff, and train in customer service, selling, and operations
