Full-time Assistant Professor in Clinical Mental Health

About the role

The Assistant Professor in Clinical Mental Health is a remote faculty position within the Department of Counseling Psychology and Social Work at National University’s John F. Kennedy School of Psychology and Social Sciences. The role involves teaching online and clinical courses, maintaining a scholarly agenda, and providing service to the program, including accreditation support, student mentorship, and administrative collaboration. The incumbent reports to the Department Chair and works closely with CMHC leadership to align with program goals and CACREP accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach and develop online courses in the area of clinical mental health in content areas of counseling theories, assessment and testing, and diagnosis and treatment.
