Full-Time Assistant Manager

About the role

We’re looking for a Full-Time Assistant Manager to lead our pop culture-driven brand and support our mission of eliminating hunger. The ideal candidate will support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and developing a passionate team.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in achieving sales plan and/or comp sales goals
• Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative, passionate team
• Create buzz and engage customers through promotions, social media, and additional benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup
• Lead operations by managing shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and schedules
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback
• Run sales reports and use data to guide sales strategies
• Messure merchandise the store in a compelling way, launch promos on time, and deliver the goods

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of retail store management experience
• Passion for philanthropy and pop culture
• Experience leading teams to success
• Skills in communication, recruiting, operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising), and team development
• Able to manage up to 50-pound boxes of merchandise
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Able to navigate the store and use approved equipment
