Full Time - Assistant Infant Teacher
About the Role
The Goddard School in Rochester, MI is seeking enthusiastic assistant teachers to work with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers in a full‑day childcare and preschool environment. Both full‑time and part‑time positions are available. Teachers collaborate with other staff to create engaging curricula, communicate daily with parents, and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead age‑appropriate activities for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers.
- Observe children’s interests and work with fellow teachers to develop creative curriculum ideas.
- Communicate daily with parents about their child’s adventures and achievements via mobile apps and personal discussions.
- Engage with other teachers to continue professional growth in early childhood education.
- Maintain clean, state‑of‑the‑art facilities and follow strict health and safety guidelines.
- Adhere to teacher‑to‑child ratios and participate in CPR & First Aid training.
