About the role

The Asset Protection Associate works in both distribution center and retail store environments, ensuring the security and safety of the company's premises and personnel.

Responsibilities

• Patrols the property to secure premises and personnel
• Reports unusual activity or circumstances to prevent losses and damage
• Confronts violators professionally to redirect behavior
• Inspects buildings and access points, assists in restraining trespassers or other violators
• Manages vehicular traffic, directs drivers, and maintains authorized DC truck yard traffic
• Supports investigations, conducts surveillances, gathers facts, and completes reports
• Maintains organizational stability and brand reputation by complying with legal requirements
• Affirms company policies, procedures, and directives, and contributes to inventory/asset protection efforts
• Provides assistance across business groups as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of related security experience
• Proven knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Prior security experience in retail or distribution centers preferred

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Report writing experience preferred

Benefits

• Hiring range: $17.40 - $22.60 per hour
