Full-Time Acute Care Nurse

About the role

The Acute Care Registered Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered care across Med/Surg, Progressive Care, and ICU settings. They collaborate with medical providers to assess patient conditions, perform procedures, administer medications, and document care thoroughly. The RN advocates for patients to ensure an excellent experience and supports pre- and post-operative care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status and monitor responses to treatment.
• Perform ordered procedures and manage medications.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of care.
• Stay knowledgeable about relevant medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Requirements

• At least one year of RN experience.
• Associates Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred).
• Current RN licensure.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and CPI.
• Strong hospital experience preferred.
