Full Time 3pm-11pm Housekeeper/ Utility cleaner Weekends Required

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Works Evening shift. 3pm-11pm Weekends Required.
• Cleans and maintains all hotel public areas, including guest rooms who have LATE Check-outs, all 4 public restrooms, hallways, stairwells, etc. to meet quality standards.
• Cleans public bathrooms, dusts furniture and pictures, vacuums, sweeps and mops floors.
• Empties all trash.
• Delivers items to rooms upon request and assists in cleaning guest rooms as needed.
• Clean Guest rooms on an “As-Needed” basis. Example- Early C/O, Guest complaint, Room Moves.
• Report to supervisor on duty any needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
• May assist with other duties as assigned.
• Push & pull Carts weighing up to 50 pounds and pushing and or pulling items up to 75 pounds.
• Frequently standing up and moving about the facility.
• Frequently handling cleaning objects and equipment to maintain the facility.
• Frequently bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Ensure that rooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitized to company-mandated standards.
• Ensures that rooms have clean linen, bedding and towels.
• Understands and follows all safety and security procedures as mandated by the hotel.
• Ensures that rooms are stocked with soap, tissues, drinking glasses, etc.
• Identify items that guests have left behind and report items utilizing hotel's lost and found procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year in Housekeeping role.
