Full-Time 2D Anime Animator – Clip Studio Paint

About the role

We are seeking a full-time 2D animator with expertise in Clip Studio Paint to join our team and contribute to The Dark Pulse, an original dark fantasy series. You will transform existing characters, storyboards, scripts, backgrounds, and visual references into polished anime-style animated scenes for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. This is a long-term position for someone eager to help shape the visual identity of the series.

Responsibilities

• Animate characters and scenes in Clip Studio Paint
• Create polished 2D/anime-style character animation
• Work from storyboards, scripts, character sheets, and references
• Handle action, dialogue, acting, facial expressions, and cinematic moments
• Revise animation based on creative feedback
• Maintain consistent character designs across scenes
• Collaborate with the team to produce animated content on an ongoing basis

Requirements

• Strong experience animating in Clip Studio Paint
• A portfolio demonstrating 2D character animation
• Strong understanding of anatomy, posing, movement, timing, and acting
• Experience with anime/manga-inspired artwork
• Ability to follow established character designs
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work consistently on a full-time schedule
• Willingness to receive feedback and make revisions
