Job Summary

Achieve a top secret (TS/SCI) clearance with a polygraph. Visionist is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for a funded role on a prime contract. The role involves developing end-to-end full-stack solutions, maintaining and updating front-end interfaces, optimizing backends, managing services, and utilizing AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end full-stack solutions, including user interfaces, REST APIs, databases, and analytics to support the ES team's mission
• Maintain and update existing front-end interfaces utilizing JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery, while preparing to migrate future front-end applications to modern UI libraries like React, Angular, or Vue
• Optimize existing backends using Python, Asyncio, and Pandas, and occasionally perform updates to legacy Java
• Manage and deploy services within existing infrastructure environments using Docker, Nginx, and GitLab CI/CD
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode to improve development efficiency and software quality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
• 12 years of experience in software development
• Familiarity with environment ecosystems, production-grade software development, and collaborative development workflows
• Experience with git-based version control systems and continuous integration pipelines
