About The Role

Gartner is looking for a well-rounded software engineer to join the Gartner’s Peer Insights Team. You will be part of a highly motivated agile team driven by innovation and collaboration. As part of Peer Insights and Product Technology team, you will work on the high-performance web development environments using cutting edge web technologies. You will work in a multi-cloud environment and use containerized pipelines for applications.

What you will do

• Develop high quality, simple, secure, innovative and scalable technical solutions.
• Absorb ownership and take responsibility for successful delivery.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced Agile/SCRUM environment.
• Focus on Software quality and follow good software engineering practices.
• Actively participates and constantly explores opportunities for improvements.
• Translate designs and style guides provided by the Design team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance.

What you will need

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-4 years of professional experience developing customer-facing web applications.
• Experience in building and deploying complex, scalable web applications and services, demonstrated as a Full Stack Developer with proficiency in Java, Spring (Spring Boot, Spring JPA), React, Next.js, Typescript, Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, software architecture, and best practices.
• Backend experience in building APIs, working databases is required.
• Experience with responsive design and building applications across multiple platforms.
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and application security fundamentals.
• Familiarity with ElasticSearch, Valkey, or other caching/indexing technologies is a plus.
• Experience designing full-stack interfaces.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.
