Full-stack Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Convert legacy JSF/PrimeFaces pages into Angular single-page applications, using AI-assisted analysis to accelerate the rewrite.
• Replatform back-end functionality from JBoss-hosted Java apps to Spring Boot services.
• Remediate security and code-quality findings surfaced through enterprise governance tools.
• Deliver features, defect fixes, and tests as part of an existing Scrum team, leveraging AI coding tools across the SDLC.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development.
• Current daily use of Angular (modern version) with TypeScript (non-negotiable).
• Strong full-stack/back-end capability using Java, JEE, and Spring Boot.
• Working-level skills with Oracle SQL.
• Experience in REST API development, Git, and automated build/deploy pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools.
• KC-local candidate with the ability and willingness to come on-site as needed.
• Preferred: JSF/PrimeFaces experience, prior legacy-to-modern rewrite work, experience with Security scanning/vulnerability remediation (Nexus IQ, SonarQube), AWS, Kafka, Okta, Snowflake, or Angular Material, Insurance or regulated-industry background.
