Full Stack Software Engineer

About The Role

We are seeking experienced full-stack engineers to join our dynamic team and help scale our next-generation consumer finance platform to serve millions of users. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building scalable, reliable, and innovative financial applications.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industry experience as a software engineer
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and services, preferably in Java
• Experience developing user interfaces with React or ReactNative from end-to-end
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, ES6+, and Typescript
• Experience with SQL databases, schema design, migrations, and analytical queries
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration systems like Kubernetes (a plus)
• Experience with GraphQL is advantageous
• Knowledge of AI tooling and best practices is desirable
• Quantitative skills or experience in finance is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend services and APIs to support millions of users
• Implement new features and user flows, ensuring seamless integration with third-party APIs
• Optimize database schemas and queries to improve response times and system performance
• Develop and refine algorithms related to transaction evaluation, risk management, and income verification
• Participate in A/B testing and feature optimization to enhance user engagement and business outcomes
• Create new mobile and web clients for upcoming product features and platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose innovative solutions and improve existing systems
