About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Build and customize full-stack applications that support intelligence analysis.
  • Develop backend services using Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS (including SQS).
  • Create responsive front-end interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Angular.
  • Apply user-centered design principles, web standards, and usability best practices.
  • Use GitHub for version control, issue tracking, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
  • Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments using Kubernetes.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python and Java; experience with C++.
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education, certifications, or work experience).
  • Active Top Secret SCI + Polygraph clearance (must currently possess).
  • US citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Full-stack development experience within the customer’s cloud environment.
  • Understanding of the customer’s data ecosystem.
  • Experience supporting analytic mission areas, particularly research related to analyst workflows or user needs.
  • Ability to structure and organize solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong collaboration and coordination skills across teams and stakeholders.

Location

McLean, VA (on customer site). Travel required: less than 10%.

Pay

Likely salary range: $165,750 – $224,250. Final salary will be based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 scheduled weekly hours.
