About the role

The Swift Group is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Chantilly, VA. This role involves working closely with the lead developer to maintain and enhance an existing software application, designing and implementing all layers of the application, and collaborating on API development and system integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications using Python, Flask, Django, and FastAPI
  • Design and implement data layer, application code, and user interface
  • Work with the lead developer to design, code, deliver APIs, and integrate with other software systems and databases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • 5 - 7 years' experience with Python, including development in Flask, Django, and FastAPI, and associated testing (unit and integration)
  • 2 - 3 years' experience with SQL and familiarity with SQLAlchemy or other ORM technologies
  • 6 months - 3 years' experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS
  • 6 months - 3 years' experience with React, Angular, or Vue
  • 1 - 3 years' experience with AWS, including building and deploying containers
  • Must have US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance

  • Experience with Agile methodologies
