Full-Stack Python Developer
Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of a growing technology-driven company for an experienced Python Developer to join their engineering team on a full-time, remote basis. About the role
Day to day, you will move between designing backend services, writing and reviewing code, and troubleshooting issues across the stack. People who thrive in this role enjoy variety and ownership. Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python
- Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code following best practices
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to teammates
- Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues
- Integrate third-party services and internal systems through APIs
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design decisions
- Write and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality and reliability
- Document technical designs, processes, and system behavior
- Mentor junior developers and support their technical growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5 or more years of professional experience developing applications in Python
- Strong experience with frameworks such as Django or Flask
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for a remote work environment

Pay
The salary range for this role is $135,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
