Full Stack Programmer Analyst

About the role

Alpha Omega Integration (AOI) is looking for a Programmer Analyst to develop and maintain full-stack software applications in a low-code Oracle environment. The role involves eliciting and capturing business requirements, designing and implementing solutions using the APEX tool suite, troubleshooting, maintaining, and modernizing existing applications, and communicating effectively with project leadership and staff. This position requires close collaboration with AOI, its clients, and third-party subject matter and technical experts.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrable proficiency with SQL, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, XML, HTML5, CSS, and SOAP-based Web Services
  • Support the development and application of best practices, program standards, and conventions
  • Analyze and refactor existing code to enhance performance, functionality, and maintainability
  • Familiarity with all aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and support for all phases, including O&M support and disposition
  • Work on a variety of projects as a team player with enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
  • Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as time-management skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related scientific or technical degree; or equivalent experience
  • 0-1 years of direct experience in application development
  • Prior production support and software O&M experience
  • Experience with version control systems (SVN, Git)
  • Must clear a background screen for Public Trust clearance

Preferred Skills

  • Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and/or APEX certifications
  • Agile development / DevSecOps experience
  • Prior experience working in a government setting
  • US work-authorization

Pay

The likely salary range for this position is $50,000 - $51,500.
