About The Role
- Balance legacy demands with future vision: maintain existing systems while constructing new, cloud-native solutions.
- Design and construct elastic, fault-tolerant, high-performance, scalable systems hosted in AWS, leveraging cloud-native principles.
- Strong Object-Oriented Analysis and Design skills: decompose large-scale problem spaces into rich domains, applying SOLID principles and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including work with geographically distributed teams.
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals in data structures and algorithm design.
- Strong programming experience with .Net Framework and .Net Core, preferably in C#, with expertise in object-oriented design, SOLID, DRY, DDD, and database design principles.
- Experience designing and developing web applications and REST APIs using ASP.Net or similar frameworks; API gateways experience a plus.
- Experience with Angular, AngularJS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with relational database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL); NoSQL experience a plus.
- Experience with public cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS (EC2, S3, ALB, Auto Scaling, RDS, Lambda, SQS); container experience (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes) a plus.
- Working experience with AI developer tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, Cursor).
- Awareness of CI/CD/DevOps concepts and tools; comfortable with unit testing and test automation.
- Experience delivering releasable code every two weeks.
- Working experience with Git and GitFlow, including pull requests, branching, and merging features across releases and hotfixes.
- Effective communicator across various platforms (e.g., face-to-face, chat, whiteboarding).
- Willingness to learn and support legacy codebases during the transition to next-generation systems.
- Ability to build and deliver hands-on technology proof-of-concepts and demonstrations.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum team environments.
- Results-oriented, detail-oriented, driven, and proactive in adapting to new business requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree required.

Pay
The base compensation range for this role is $94,900 USD - $176,300 USD, positioned within the range based on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
