Full Stack JAVA Developer (Remote)

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Full Stack JAVA Developer (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will focus on designing and developing robust Java-based solutions that support data ingestion, reporting, and API-driven integrations. The ideal candidate will work across development and testing activities to help modernize existing reporting capabilities and improve application reliability. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, support user acceptance testing, and deliver maintainable software in a remote environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Pay

$136,000 – $184,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Java-based microservices and REST APIs
• Implement data ingestion pipelines and manage reporting solutions
• Build and maintain JasperReports and modernize existing reports
• Execute comprehensive testing, including API and batch testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for troubleshooting and UAT

Qualifications

• 9+ years of related experience in software engineering
• Strong skills in Java software development and microservices
• Experience with JasperReports and REST APIs
• Proficiency in SQL for data queries and reconciliation
• Knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) practices
