Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer for a 5-month onsite contract in Jersey City, NJ, with potential for extension.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications across front-end and back-end.
- Build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using modern Java frameworks.
- Deploy, monitor, and manage applications in Kubernetes or AWS environments.
- Implement and maintain DevOps pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and related tools.
- Ensure code quality, automation, and reliability through CI/CD best practices.
- Troubleshoot application and production issues, including participation in on-call rotations as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements gathering and solution design.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and adherence to security standards.
- Document technical solutions and actively participate in code reviews.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies to support continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Full Stack Java development, including front-end and back-end components.
- Proficiency with Java frameworks for microservices and REST API development.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or AWS cloud services for application deployment and orchestration.
- Solid understanding of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and support on-call activities when required.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of performance optimization, scalability considerations, and secure coding practices.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
