Full Stack Java Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC

About the role

Support a major platform migration from legacy .NET to a modern Java-based stack, including MongoDB and React. Work on biweekly release cycles, supporting scheduled deployments and on-call rotations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of new systems. Read and interpret .NET code to support dual-stack development efforts, primarily focusing on Java. Participate in scheduled support activities, including support during Monday or Tuesday nights.

Responsibilities

• Support platform migration from legacy .NET to modern Java-based stack (MongoDB, React).
• Work on biweekly release cycles, including deployments and on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and functionality.
• Read and interpret .NET code to support dual-stack development (primarily Java).
• Participate in scheduled support activities, including Monday or Tuesday night shifts.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of engineering experience with a focus on software development.
• At least 5 years of Java experience (version 15 or newer).
• 3 years of experience with React and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of Business Process Management applications such as IBM BPM, Pega, or Azure Logic Apps.
• Experience supporting credit card servicing platforms and platform migrations.
